About Lessard Outdoors Fly-In Fishing

Bob Lessard has owned and operated fishing lodges for over 60 years ranging from International Falls Minnesota and Fort Frances Ontario, to Great Bear Lake in Canada’s Northwest Territories.

A 26 year veteran of the Minnesota State Senate, Bob has been recognized for his passion and tireless efforts championing the rights of hunters, anglers and outdoor lovers everywhere. Authoring the first constitutional right to hunt and fish in the nation, and help lead and pass landmark legislation to constitutionally fund our natural resources and many other outdoor issues during his tenure has made him well known in the outdoor community.

First fishing Trout Lake in 1948, no one knows the lake better than Bob and his son Brett who can guide you to the best spots the lake has to offer for fantastic walleye, lake trout, smallmouth bass, and northern fishing. Trout Lake is the largest lake in the area next to Rainy Lake with over 200 miles of shoreline and only a handful of structures. Fed by two rivers ending with waterfalls and rapids, you are sure to enjoy the tranquil beauty of the lake with its seemingly endless peninsulas, bays, and coves.
